3 Brothers, 3 Friends, 1 Love: Chapter 10 Part 2

Hayley's POV

Kevin looked so cute in his nerd getup. Even with a dodgy tie and suspenders he looked amazing. Luckily nobody noticed him so we could safely shop. Or at least thats what I thought. We were inside Zavvi AN:music store encase ya don't know lol. browsing the cd's and listening to them. We even decided to dance to a few which recieved us some strange looks, but we didn't care. I was singing outloud to oldschool Britney Spears when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to come face to face with one of my biggest fears, and no it wasn't a clown.

"Brad?!? What are you doing here?" I asked rather surprised to be seeing him.
"My dad just transferred back. The job wasn't working out so we came home."

Then he gave me that amazing smile of his. I practically melted on the spot. At this point Kevin came over - still in his nerd getup - and shoved a cd of Camp Rock in my face.

"You have to listen to this!" he joked.
"Urm, Kevin. This is Brad. He's an old friend of mine." I lied.
"Hey I'm Kevin. Nice to meet you." he said lending his hand for Brad to shake.
"Brad." He replied placing his hand into Kevin's and gripping it tightly. "What cd is that?" he asked.
"Ohh it's Camp Rock." Kevin answered. "I love those 3 brothers in the movie." he joked, obviously Brad didn't get the joke.
"I haven't seen it myself. But I do know that Hayley had a HUGE crush on Kevin Jonas." he said laughing at the memory. "Hopefully she's gotton over that."

Kevin's smiled and nodded along.

"Well I best be going." he said. "See you soon Hayley. Bye Kevin."

He walked away leaving me completley stunned. I suppose I should explain who 'Brad' is. I dated him through freshman year and we were inseperable. Then his father got a job someplace out west and he moved. We tried to make the whole long distance thing work but we cracked. He broke my heart and I haven't seen him since. Not until this day. I never got the closure I needed from him, which left all my unresolved feelings up in the air. Seeing him brought them all flooding back and I didn't know what to do. I would obviously be seeing alot more of him this summer, and with Kevin going on tour would I be able to cope without him?

"He seemed nice." Kevin said.

All I could do was nod along. My whole world had been totally turned upside down. How could he come back and do this to me? Maybe because he doesn't know that I still like him. I mean liked because of course I have Kevin now so he means nothing. Right?

Joe's POV

Kevin and Hayley left to spend the day together. It's probabley the last time they will get to hang out before we go on tour. Nick and I were left with Riley and Carson so we decided to do something fun together.

"How about we go karting?" I asked excited.
"As in go-karts?" Riley asked.
"Yeah!"
"I don't know, I've never driven one before." she confessed.
"Don't worry it's easy." I assured her. "How about you Carson?"
"Well if everybody's going I might as well."
"That's the spirit!"

We walked outside and Hayley had left her car keys with Riley so I drove us to the track. Carson sat up front with me and Riley and Nick chilled in the back.

"So, you excited about racing?" I asked her trying to make conversation.
"Actually I am. I can't wait to kick your butt."
"Woah! Who says your gonna?"
"Please! No competition!" she bragged.
"We'll see about that. How about we make a little bet?"
"Terms?"
"If I win you have to go on a date with me."
"No way!"
"Hear me out. If you win, you don't have to go on a date with me, unless you want to."
"Yeah right. Your on."

The rest of the drive there I concentrated on my skills and how exactly I was going to beat her. I needed this date to prove I was much better than Trey. Meanwhile Nick and Riley were happily chatting away.

"So, you ever been go-karting before?" Riley asked.
"Once or twice. I was never that good though." he confessed which was actually true. Nick kinda sucked.
"I won't be the only one then." she smiled.

If I didn't know any better I'd say that Riley liked Nick. But that's impossible right? She helped him get back together with Miley, which in my opinion was a mistake. We arrived at the track and went inside to collect a helmet each. We had to be safe after all. After getting kitted out we went outside and climbed into our cars. Nick was in blue, Riley was in purple, Carson was in black and I....was in pink!

"I never knew pink was your colour Joe." Nick joked,
"Yeah. Lets just see who wins shall we!"

So I wonder who wins?
Will Joe get his date?
Will Carson spoil his fun?
