I like the quote of JFK's that they've used here "Peace does not lie in charters and covenants alone. It lies in the hearts and minds of the people".

Very true in the case of the Arab-Israeli conflict because you can sign as many peace treaties as you want but if the next generation isn't educated about peace it ain't gonna happen unfortunately.

This would never have occurred if the Arabs hadn't rejected the original UN partition plan in 1948 which called for a two state solution with both an independent Jewish state and an independent Arab state.

The Arabs rejected it and it led to war. If the Arabs hadn't rejected the UN partition plan there would not have been and there would not continue to be a problem.

As tonuhot pointed out. It's so black and white like give half to each people. Israel is a very small country with a lot ethnicities and it's important for not just Muslims and Jews but also Christian and Ba'hai people.

It takes time to negotiate with all people involved. Peace is not something that can be achieved over night.

In 1948 the UN devised a partition plan which gave half of the country to the Jews and the other half to the Arabs. The Jews accepted it and so came the state of Israel

Israel acts so f*cking self-righteous, it has UAV's that are the most advanced of the world and still they manage to hit women and children with rockets from those very UAV's. Israel claims Hamas uses human shields (probably true) while we know Israel has used human shields.

The truth is Israel fights as dirty as Hamas but acts like it doesn't. It's never Israel's fault.
