One Life To Live Epi On 2-19-09 Part 1 of 5

Part 1 Summary: Marty is brought in for questioning in Wes' death but she can't remember anything. Blair insists Marty is the guilty party but John presses for Todd to be brought in for questioning. Tea breaks the news to Todd that the man he fought the night before was found dead with a knife in his chest -- and she thinks they're going to come calling for Todd. And she's right. They head into the station to make a statement. Brody worries that he is the one who killed Wes citing his previous history with doing things he can't remember. Jessica is strongly in his corner, tells him he is acting out of guilt over his war experience and grief over the tragic death of his friend. She makes him see that he could not have been the killer. But Brody is still wondering. Jared sees that Natalie is still pursuing the parking ticket "lead" from the night Chloe was born. Natalie admits she is doing it in order to get resolution, whatever it is, so she can actually forgive Jess. She promises once she has the truth, she will try to let go and forgive for good. Schuyler confides in Starr about a loss he experienced and makes her know she's not alone in the failed love arena. He asks if her "friend's" drug problem is still an issue. She says it is but does not give away that it is Cole. Markko gets big news about college but keeps the whole truth from Langston. Cole runs to find his mother, tells her he loves her, wants to help and Marty is moved. Marty gives her statement to Talia but can't expand on anything she has already told the Police. Tea tells Antonio that she has someone who can alibi Todd. Antonio assumes it is Tea -- either lying or admitting to sleeping with Todd. Either way, it's reprehensible to him. Tea corrects him and looks to Todd's alibi, Blair, and asks her if she wants to tell them or should Tea?

the incompetence of this pd never ceases to amaze me......it took christian to solve nikki throwing ben out the window.....took natalie to break the spencer truman case and find magerrat cohcrane alive....hell back before bo was commisioner he did a sting to net carlo hessers "killer" during one of those fake murder mysteries. what do the cops do there? eat dougnuts all day?

Starr has been without her child for way too long. Whether Cole would be part of the child's life is another story.
