I have a question - In the beginning you say that Mr. Savarkar wrote this when he was studying in England.. I wonder if this is correct. I think he wrote it during the times when he was in Andaman .

@MegaExquisite1 I am sure this song was written by V.D.Savarkar while he was in England. "Prasad ithe bhavya pari maj bhari, Aaichi jhopadi pyari" refers to England.

धन्यवाद. गाण्याच्या ओळी पण अपलोड केल्यात हे खूपच छान झाले. सध्या आपला देश सोडून राहणाऱ्या लोकांच्या भावना पण फार वेगळ्या आहेत असे नाही. गाणे एकून देशाच्या साठी काही कार्नाच्ये स्पूर्ती मिळते . अनेक पिढ्यांना देश प्रेमाचे बाळकडू हे गाणे देत राहील . जय हिंद!

Jai Veer Savarkar. What a superb poem.

I had visited Andaman Nicobar where i saw the cell where Shri Savarkar was kept arrested along with other great freedom fighters. Tears flow when you hear of the stories. This poem was/is/will-be evergreen and would always remind following generations of the priceless sacrifice they gave for us !

Freedom-Fighters like Great Swaatrantyaveer Savarkar are born only once in 1000 years.

But he was a victim of dirty politics....

Instead of honouring this great freedom fighter.. our "National Leaders" harrased him in many ways.....

Disappointing..... Disgusting..... Frustrating....

There are no words to describe this ridiculous policy of Political Leaders...

Still the fact remains that Great Savarkarji will always remain in the hearts of True Indians

Indias history is narrated to suite Nehru dynasty's political requirements. Unless Indian know correct history we will always face identity crisis. Who we are exactly? What are our values? For which common cause we should all come together?

I believe there is a serious and mostly successful effort to brainwash India via foreign lobbies investment in our media. National narrative is defined largely by media these days.

One should clearly listen to Barkha Radia tapes. Things will be clear.

हे गाणं माझ्या DNA मध्ये असल्या सारखं मला नेहमी वाटतं! लहानपणी संध्याकाळी आकाशवाणी वर नेहमी कानावर पाडायचं. पण इतके डीप विचार, नाही भावना या गाण्यात आहेत हे मोठं झाल्यावर कळलं. मराठी मुलांच्या कानावर अशी गाणी पडणं हे आपल्या कर्तव्याचा भाग मी मानतो.
