  • would you suggest serrated or standard edge

  • @TDONLEY91 For bushcraft, plain edge. For "survival", the powers at be suggest serrated

  • What would you say is the best knife for carving etc under $50?

  • @SBPStudio Mora 120 is the standard carving knife - under $20

  • There's a huge scandi culture over here (England) right now, arguably due to the Ray Mears knife. I don't get it myself and I'll take my Esee 4 over a scandi grind any day for a multitude of reasons. ATB

  • Great knife but i HATE the choil at all (on a small knife). In winter append that you have cold and wet hands and choil SUKS; i cutted my fingers a couple of time, i cutted my gloves... I like 100kkk time a full handle shape like F1 or Bravo series... Just a personal preerence. I have ESE4 "1095", great knife but i skip to use it

  • This is a great review, thanks. I just got an ESEE-5 and was so impressed with it that I started looking at it's smaller siblings. I ordered a ESEE-3 and will use it for everyday carry. It also will come in super handy when camping for the whittling and shaving type chores. Thanks for the review, it was excellent.

  • I like this knife alot wow

  • Has any on removed the ESEE Handle scales?

I went to remove mine and they were not coming off,

i put a lot of pressure trying to unscrew them and they diddnt budge so i decide i would stop and not risk striping the screws.

do they maby have locktite on them?

    Thanks, JBK

  • @krazy4knives about $100 on average. The ESEE 4 is actually usually cheaper

  • "going and fighting zombies in south america" awesome. really good review man
