In case anyone is interested, this episode "The New House," is on the William Castle Collection DVD set. It's uncut and looks great. There's one other GHOST STORY episode on the set, "Graveyard Shift."

why can't anyone make anything like this anymore? just like the other posts i too have childhood memories of this program. in fact i have been looking for it for a long time. scary scary stuff. i wish more were posted. thanks for doing this

OMG! I am 49 years old -- was freaked out by this movie in 1972 when I was watched it with my brother & his wife who had just had a baby. I have thought about this movie for years but had no idea what it was -- it scarred me for life. I still, to this day will not look in a mirror at night & still hear that woman whispering "I want the baby....". Thanks for posting!

When I was a child my parents wouldn't allow me to watch a lot of TV . The day I was watching this episode I was hidding behind a sofa but they caught me and I couldn't see the ending. I never saw this again and all these years I couldn't forget about it . In fact when I grew up I didn't even remember the tittle but I kept hoping to finalize the episode one day. Today was the day and I can't thank you enough .

Glad you posted this. When I was a kid I remember watching this in 1972 and being so scared. It holds up because it still gives me the creeps. It originally aired as Double Play because another TV pilot called Movin' On starring Geoffrey Deuel and Patrick Wayne was shown with it. Do you have this show and if so, any chance you could post it?
