Yes We Can- Men against Female Genital Mutilation FGM

Young men from the group Young Immigrant TV (YITV Holmlia) will be rounding up our yearlong awareness campaigns against FGM (Female Genital Mutilation) at this year's conference 1.12.11 at BUDIR in Oslo. The conference will be marking the end of Norway's 4 years plan of action against this destructive practice. We say thank you to the government of Norway for their strong support and to all organizations, individuals and religious bodies that have given so much in this fight to bring awareness and also put a stop to this unhealthy and primitive practice. This short video produced by these young men is a manifestation of our little effort.
