  • Bravo-bravo-Back in time to great live tv,and singers with great talent...She was one of the greats. She was the big star of Your Hit Parade, and Candid Camera showed her comedy side. Follies-the great musical-she went all out,and gave the greatest performance,i think, ever.Follies, directed by Hal Prince was the great musical-Dorothy did it all-a fantastic voice,a great singer,dancer,actress,comedienne.wow--Her early recordings are being reissued on cd-I even have some of her radio recordings ..

  • I agree with your comments. Dorothy did it all. Would encourage you to upload some of her radio recordings and share them with many of her fans. Thanks.

  • Interesting that both of the singing "America's Sweethearts" on Your Hit Parade, Dorothy Collins & Giselle MacKenzie, were Canadian. Part of the stealth Canadian conspiracy to take over American culture, even back then. I don't think anyone could do this song like Dinah Shore, who it was written for, but DC does a pretty good job here.

  • Beautiful voice! Love her
