Carrefour de l'Arbre. Fabian Cancellara goes full spead to drop off his contenders. Then, a TV motorbike and another bike on the left and a further bike on the right stand in the way. Cancellara is forced to hit the brakes and abruptly stop his acceleration as he was expanding his gap on Thor. Hushoved almost crashes into the moto. Both massively lose speed and get passed by the guys behind that were not interfered. Considering it was the last difficult sector with an opportunity to rocket away, the time and speed lost, this is probably the moment which destroyed FC's Paris-Roubaix 2011 dreams. Not just that it cost probably the missing 19 seconds. Sad that external human factors play a prominent role in such decisions. But then again, this is Paris-Roubaix. Everything is possible. Sometimes a crash, sometimes a puncture, sometimes a dog or a motorbike. At least, a very merited and respected winner, congrats Johan van Summeren!

  • Cancellara Earned that win, no question about it. Paris-Roubaix is notorious for not caring who is strongest (Hincapie 2001?). Johan rode like a champ though and was a worthy winner.

  • i'm ok with dogs, punctures or weather, but a moto is plain silly

  • DAS GIBTS DOCH GAR NICHTS

  • @lofi73 Typical danish. Always important to make other people aware of our nations greatness. Yes Lars rode fantastic, but so did the others. Drop nationalfølelsen.

  • they were only 40 seconds behind with still 14km to go they still good have closed the gap...

  • @CWake1 Not to forget Lars Bak´s strong riding that made it possible for a rider from the front group to take the win

  • Sometimes I think the TV motos are piloted by aspiring derny drivers.
