So I guess there is no specified torque value for the nut. I wonder why they're using nylocks and not castellated nuts like they used to. Retainer ring chaffing maybe?
How long has WW been using double nicos?? I used to make my own wires with doubles years ago, but thought I was being a bit redundant. I'm glad it caught on.
Odd that there is no oversized washer between the nut and the sprog wire thimble.

Cautionary note: Be sure the side wires are free of any twists before final installation or a kink could inadvertently develop when spreading the wings due to the wire's tendency for form a tight loop when twisted. 1x19 wire rope is very temperamental and once kinked in this manner it needs to be replaced.
