Muhammed Lawal destroyed Lorenz Larkin, but was livid over the late stoppage. Lawal strongly suggested that the NSAC-appointed referee has a long history of missing the mark and isn't qualified to officiate fights.

the late stoppage in King Mo fight wasn't that bad.
She made two more mistakes that night:
1. her bad decision to stand the fighters up earlier in KIng Mo fight.
2. she stopped the Trevor Smith fight too soon

It was late but the argument that she wouldn't want to get hit like that is a pretty poor one. A ref isn't meant to be able to take the same kind of punishment. She probably couldn't take one leg kick from Cyborg but that doesn't mean that she should stop a fight where someone takes a brutal leg kick. There are also fighters that don't want to be stopped until they are unconscious, although the rules are there for the safety of the fighters so she should have stopped that fight earlier.
