Every day is straight pride. Let the oppressed minority have our one bloody day of freedom and hope before we have to once again suffer discrimination. You get the right to be married in any country, hold your partner's hand without being yelled abuse at and know that society accepts you. It's like Mother's day and Father's day, kids don't get a Kids day, because every day is a day where kids get to have fun and be themselves. No one is beating and imprisoning straight people.

@EricsEveryNewDay Seriously? You want to have your privilege, and get a fucking parade in which to celebrate the straight, rich, white man who gets all handed to him on a silver platter. Usually, I can take a joke, but this is ridiculous. Get off your high-horse of self-entitlement and take a look around you. Racism, sexism, homophobia. They are real and inescapable. We have these parades so communities can band together against discrimination and feel safe together.

@BlupBeepBeep You say usually you can take a joke. So you realize that is was all a joke & not to be taken seriously (except tall people really don't fit in small cars). Even knowing it was a joke you tell me to get off my high-horse of self-entitlement (which I'm sure is a lovely breed). Also, my straight pride parade would be for all economic classes, races, & genders not just rich white men. Lastly, I don't think racism, sexism, & homophobia are inescapable & they can be overcome one day.
