I apologize for comming off as rude; I'm a Marine. Also, complacency is just something that really sets me off. My first comment was a little off the wall because I was pissed. I didn't make these last comments to belittle your unit or anything like that, though. I made them as a brother to you guys and anyone else viewing this, who's in the same baot. If you wont take note of what I have to say, then my hands are tied.

LOL, no shit, prawcessthegreat. Don't worry; I have plenty experience in real combat. If I'm going to tell people how to do their job, my knowledge and experince has better be somewhere.

Shit yeah we knew what we were doing damn it. I was there with Tobiascore.. we were DEEP into the shit.
I got blown off my feet onto my ass about 2 seconds after he stopped filming. He (tobiascore) killed all 12 of them with a friggin pistol then carried me on his back to the humvee.. then I smoked a joint and passed out.

I'm really not trying to bring you or your boys down; you guys did it yourself. Just take this criticism and shape up. Keep dispersed, maintain good cover and security, HOLD Your Rifle AT THE READY, and move with a purpose. I'm all about earning hearts and minds, but you have to remember that when you're on the block, you own it. Present yourselves as a hard worker with things to do. Be courteous as hell, but carry yourselves in a way that makes them know not to ever try anything.
anybody notice the furry critter at 3:00, what the hell is that?

Under the tree? I think that's a really big rat. They were everywhere.

I'm a Stability and Support Operations Instructor. I'm a Marine infantry squad leader that specializes in urban operations. I know patrols can't go perfect, but good God... What took so long to start searching the houses? Why were you guys standing out in the open, not needing to be? Why were you poking around in the first yard with a camera in your hands and no cover? You even said that you were in a bad area where there are IEDs on the road all the time.

Snap TTP's my friend.
I appreciate the...instruction. But the way the Army conducts itself inside Baghdad, isn't all flair and beauty.
I have been back from Baghdad for a year now. Anyone who wants to comment on how we conduct ourselves, keep that in mind. I pulled 275 missions in 12 months in Iraq. We knew what we were doing.
Thanks for the concern.

What a bunch of lazy mothers. Don't mean to hate, but damn, your unit's just nasty.

As opposed to breaking down the door, smashing wondows and pointing our rifles at the kids inside?
We follow the SOP of the unit we fall under. At that time, the 3ID commanding General ordered all units to "knock and search". Sorry it doesn't follow your hollywood-fed standard of how we should fight an urban war.
