2010 F150 SVT Raptor with the 5.4L 3V motor. I installed Stainless works long tube headers with high flow cats, hooked up to a 22" Magnaflow mufler with dual exits out the passenger side behind the rear wheel. Cams were upgraded to Ford Racing FRPP Hot Rod 3V cam. This was 1st startup with no tune (stock tune)

  • They are for a Mustang. I bought them online. Tell them you want FRPP (Ford Racing Performance Parts) Hot Rod cams for a 3V Mustang.

Don't know about warranty. I put them in myself. I don't see why warranty should cover these, if you want your warranty leave your engine alone.

  • How much with installation?

  • @rh1n01 I installed them myself. Install was easy if you have done things like this before. I did lose a valve keeper and had to wait for Ford to get the $1 part in. Also, to get the valve keeper back in I did have to purchase an $80 snap on tool to put compressed air into the cylinder to hold the valve up. Once I had the proper tools it went easy. Had I not lost the valve keeper, install would have taken less than 2 hours total for the cams alone. The headers took me about 6 hours.

  • @mrpositraction I'm really interested in doing this on my raptor. Did you loose any mpgs?

  • @rh1n01 There was a loss of power down low with the long tubes and cams. I didn't see any mpg loss, but it was pretty crappy to begin with. With these two additions though the 5.4L never stopped pulling, it was great!

  • They are just FRPP 3V Hot Rod Cam. They work in the 4.6 and the 5.4L to my understanding. You do lose some lowend but not that much.

I didn't install lockouts, the tuner said they reduce the amount of cam phazing (not even sure if you can do this, won't be using them again anyways) but I ran them without a tune for a period of time
