Phytoplankton Culturing Part 1

This is a beginner's instructional video on culturing your own phytoplankton from a liquid starter culture. As a note, I made at least one mistake on the video. I referred to a 6500 watt fluorescent bulb. What I meant to say was 6500 K.

Yes, I've been considering doing one on rotifers. Rotifers are a little less of a one shot deal like phytoplankton, but I should be able to put something together that covers the basics. . .once I get a chance that is.

These are excellent videos. I have read several guides on how to do phytoplankton cultures, but never actually watched someone explain it in an easy to understand way.

You should do one on rotifer culture as well since you mentioned that you have a culture below the phyto.
