Hither & Thither: The Lombard Method

Day Five of the Tethervision Tour saw us drive to Digbeth in Birmingham, where we spent the entire day, beginning with The Lombard Method, a new studio and project space run by 8 Birmingham based artists. We met TLM's Adam Smythe, Sarah Farmer, Joe Welden & Joanne Masdine only a short time after signing the lease and were intrigued by their hopes and aspirations.

"Functioning primarily as a large communal studio with flexible project spaces, the objectives of the group are to develop individual practice through critical dialogue and group interaction, and to engage with other artists through a programme of residencies, exhibitions, and events."
