Alundra - Zorgia - No Damage

Zorgia is by far the hardest boss in the game in a normal playthrough and one of the hardest bosses I've ever come across in a minimalist challenge.

Zorgia is easy by normal means because you've plenty of healing at your disposal but Zorgia has alot of HP, plenty of hard to avoid attacks and some pretty damaging ones like his flame pillars and meteors so if it wasn't for the large amount of healing your capable of then he could easily be an incredibly difficult boss, this is where my minimalist challenge comes in though.

Those discs or when he tries landing on you don't look hard to avoid but over time they can easily get you, the discs are smart and lock into the position you're moving to so they can intercept you if you carry on walking that way depending on their distance, if your by the wall and 1 is right next to you then again most likely you'll be hit from it and if you can't destroy them fast enough he summons more and more which is when they become huge problems, that coupled with his tendency to suddenly fly down on your head which again you must side step from the direction he's coming and if your too close to his shadow then getting out of the way is nearly impossible, if you leave him on the floor then he can use the meteor attack or flame pillars which can be hard to avoid, as you can see the flame pillars are very fast and come in a + or x direction and the meteors also fall fast and randomly around his position and the explosions also stay on the ground for a second or 2 which can corner you.

It took me about 50 attempts to pull this off, seriously (and i wasn't even going for a no damage win, i just wanted to beat him!)...Zorgia could kill me in 1 or 2 hits, his flame pillars and meteors would 1 shot me and anything else did 8 damage, it took me around 15-20 attempts to get used to avoiding his attacks then the rest of the attempts were me just getting killed by cheap shots or messing up slightly...He may not look THAT hard but trust me, anyone that's been up against Zorgia would know his attacks are hard to dodge and eventually they will get the better of you.

Yeah, not only was Zorgia incredibly difficult to no damage but getting through the 2 minute talk (Whilst skipping it all) with that old guy beforehand each time you die was difficult too x.x frustrating as hell.

Yeah, it's one of the best PS games around.

I hope this game would be more popular. It deserves being so.
