I hold very much respect for this version of the song, and I love how it takes such a different perspective on the song itself. It's nearly impossible to compare this rendition of The Rolling Stones classic because both take such a diverse outlook on the emotion of the music. Bravo.

A lot of people are confusing the meaning behind this song. It's not about cutting yourself or being emo or goth. It's about losing your love. Listen to the words. "with flowers and my love both never to come back" etc. I lost my husband on 11-18-11.He was only 32. Trust me it's about the hurt you feel when you lose the love of your life. Your whole world turns to darkness, and depression. That is what this song is about.

this is like my theme song. black is my favorite color. my closet's full of it. and im emo and most people turn their heads when they see new cuts on my arms.
no offense to rolling stones, (i think their awesome) but this version of the song is, in my oppinion, way better than the original.

This is probably the best version of this song i'v ever heard. And to the people who are posting hurtful comments, I would apreciate if you would keep your oppinions to yourself. It gets really annoying. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all
