How to download Minecraft 1.9 Pre Release *LEAKED* (Beta Install)

COMMON PROBLEMS

1. A LOT of people are saying that it saves as a WinZIP or WinRAR file. If you pretened it's a .jar file and do everything I do, it will still work. Technically, it IS a .jar file, it's just that you've programmed your computer to open .jar files with WinZIP or WinRAR by default.
If that doesn't work, try renaming the minecraft.zip which you downloaded (or minecraft.rar) to minecraft.jar. Someone told me that it works. Or, when you hit save as, change the file type to all files and after minecraft type .jar. If it doesn't work, just download the file via Google Chrome. I did that and it worked for me.

2. A few people are saying that it gets stuck on "Done loading" or it gets stuck updating. I don't know why this happens, but one guy deleted his minecraft.jar and did it all over again and it worked for him. For others, it didn't.
Someone said that 'You have to click on the link and when it pops up on the bottom screen instead on the save button click on the arrow that points down and click "All files". Click save and rename it to minecraft.jar.'
Someone commented that 'You are supposed to rename the 1.9 .jar file to minecraft, that fixes the "Done Loading" problem.'
You can try it, but if it doesn't work, really sorry, I can't help you.

For people who say it STILL won't work, make sure that the jar file is named "minecraft.jar" NOT "minecraft.jar(1)" or minecraft.jar(2) or so one.
