It is true that Haiti has been suffering, particularly in the past two decades. But that is because both the 60s and 70s generations made a big mistake in electing Aristide president in 1990. Mr. Wyclef has no clue on how to fix his own organization (Yele Haiti), which by the way has not been able to explain where the money for the poor went. But that's one prong of the issue. The other is the fact that Mr. Wyclef does not even know the true history of the Haitian people. Haitians are among the best minds of the world. At one time, Haiti was more developed than any other country in the Caribbean. In universities across the globe, Haitian students are leading and are very promising.
