  • Thanks for posting this .. I actually remember that TV ID Promo mix during the 1977 Logies and have not seen that for more than 30 years until today .. It actually wasn't far off from how I remembered it... I can actually tick this off my bucket list now of things to see before I die .. THANKS again for posting .. you are a Legend !!

  • aussiebeachut: The whole show runs for some 2.5 hours. The original TV ads are also included. The quality is good because it is a DVD recording direct off the 2" master tape. GTV9 Melbourne kept more master tapes in their archives than anyone else in Australia. They even kept the 29th Dec, 1961 IMT on videotape.

  • Free to air TV is finished for good. In addition to rubbish TV programs, the rapid-fire split-second computer timed TV ads aim to exploit every last revenue inefficiency. All very impressive from a technical point of view, but I'll pass anyway. Flashy programing techniques does not equate to class. The old shows are a once only generational event. Dig up the old classic TV shows and switch off the new DTV free to air garbage for good.

  • @FrozenDoberman I thought the new DTV free to air was all classic TV shows, but they have paid for the rights of use and I assume you haven't? You are profiting from other peoples property.

  • @FrozenDoberman I agree with you totally

  • Ah, the days when ytou didn't have to 'classify' every segment...

  • I remember this, I love the montage of Channels 10, 0, 7 and 9 station idents of the time at the start.
