  • @tsmrc Ya, but the fans pay to see...guess who? Not the owners. Peep this from ESPN...espn.go .com/espn/commentary/story/_/page/jackson-111024/nba-players-write-

    entire-season

  • @masterodisastr I agree with most of it but the players do the work but they don't bring in ALL the revenue, the FANS does.

  • @tsmrc Really? So, do the owners have anything without the players? No. Not a damn thing. The players don't need the owners, they could organize their own league and get paid that way. The players do ALL of the work and bring in ALL of the revenue. The owners need to get their corporate heads out of their asses and realize this, and stop making stupid decisions. If you're a bad owner, your franchise deserves to lose millions. It's your FAULT your organization blows. END THE FED!

  • I also love that the ladies have the most interesting commentary by far!

  • Jim, you almost Jimmy Fallon'd the opening, nice lip bite. ;)

I think fans are on the players' side because they can see the owners not being honest, breaking promises (Sonics, Nets arena) and who roots for Jim Dolan, who got rich because his family's L.I. cable monopoly? We know they aren't going to pass the savings onto us.

  • I don't get why the fans are on the player's side? I mean they make millions just for being athletes, while most of the teams in smaller markets are losing millions per season. The players have to just suck it up and take the 50/50 revenue share already, is more than they deserve for just playing the game. The owners gave in last time and gave the players' association 57%, now this time is the player's turn to give in.

  • Good girl! Go Ronny!

  • So you're saying you're a Nets fan? hahah
