The Environmental Protection Agency held the first of 3 public hearing on ground level ozone, also known as smog. EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson said in January the Agency would reconsider a Bush era ruling of 75 parts per billion. The EPA is looking at setting the restrictions at somewhere between 60-70 parts per billion. This hearing allowed the public to have their comments put into the public record, and Clean Skies Lee Patrick Sullivan was there.

  • @15693 EPA start targeting country which have high Ozone which men hot area such as Middel East. Not fair the weather plays a role in the middel east to increase the Ozone level. The have low NOx comparing to London. EPA shoud talk about NOx more.

  • There is no relation between Ozone and Smog..It's look this people targeting some countries to reduce the pollution. Ground level Ozone need air temp. between 32-40 C, Humdity and small amount of NOx. For example London has high NOx but no high air tempture so they safe from Ozone.
