SNES Music Box - .spc audio player

This is my build of the Super Nintendo "music box." I found this project on the internet. Knowing that I had some time on my hands during Christmas break, I decided to do this project. This plays .spc files(snes audio dumps)from your computer and plays it using the original hardware. I got my case from RadioShack a long time ago. It has a 9 volt battery compartment allowing portability. I also have a power input if you don't want to drain batteries.

Also, if your into this type of music style, you can get it to play .mod .s3m and .xm files using a converter program. It can convert various mod files to spc files.

Very interesting, it would be cool if you added a S/PDIF digital audio out of the chip, so all the audio would be crystal clear!

that is so awesome dude! i pulled my shvc sound card out of a bad snes unit (video color was no good) so i decided to serch the sound cards specs and found this! XD great job building the snes ipod LOL!
