could those ikizuri be any more beautiful. these are pure vintage masterpieces. the one on the right is black silk crepe dyed over green and red (to match the pine and cherry or plum pattern) itself dyed over white. the one on the left is black habutae silk dyed over the deepest purple called koki. these are absolutely stunning kimono, even after decades the colour doesnt change it gets only better. unlike the kimono today which you could never passdown to the next generation. damn japanese
