@leaanka First of all you didnt win because you were on the side of the Germans who along with you lost the first world war! There is no doubt that Turkey massacred hundreds of thousands of unarmed (maybe more than a million) Armenians including women and children. It doesnt matter how you try to twist history this wont go away. More than 20 countries now recognise this and France was just the latest country to criminalise denial. I suggest that Turks find an intelligent response not denial.

Turkey doesn't deny this disastrous incident. But to name it with a name then we have to put aside the numbers, unfortunately. I know it is disgusting but genocide debate is pure theorethical one.

As a Turk , I can tell you why we deny in different ways but only if you ask. Otherwise I won't bother you.

But at least I should say that, we really don't understand the parliements' intervention. A truth becomes a truth only in the condition that it is recognised by a parliement ?

@leaanka Whilst it is sad that 700 or so people died, are you really trying to compare something that happened during an intense war (it is still wrong that it happened) to the systematic and organised killing of 1.5 million people? I dont think you get it. War is horrible and countries should take responsibility for their actions,Armenian does not deny that this happened, but Turkey adamantly denies that the Armenian genocide occurred or could be called a Genocide and i think that is disgusting

The Armenian Genocide occurred, there is no doubt about it. How people can argue to this day that it didn't happen or that it wasn't genocide astounds me.
