Hate to burst everone's bubble but why don't we see him getting in to that stance? It cuts from him sitting down, a close up of his finger, then he's in the position. And we never see the very top of his feet.

The two-fingers / one-finger standing pose is one of the major skills of the Shaolin Kung Fu Masters, it needs an enourmous practice and a big inner-energy. But it cannot be performed like a "miracle": the finger of this Master stays too perfectly on the line, not bending even of one millimeter. Check the National Geographic's documentary. Furthermore, on this video you never see the whole legs of the Master: feet are always out of the camera, so you can easily imagine he's supported by strings.
