Healthcare Interviews: Clair Schwendeman, M.D.

Clair Schwendeman, board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown and completed his pediatric residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.

Dr. Schwendeman served in the U.S. Army for eleven years and achieved the rank of Major. He served in administrative positions at Medical City Dallas as the president of the Medical Staff, Chief of Pediatrics and Medical Director of the NICU.

Dr. Schwendeman currently serves as Pediatric Department Chairman at Medical City Dallas. He was formerly Assistant Chief of Pediatrics and Chief of Neonatology at Landstuhl Army Region Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany.
