An experiment with recording into Cubase LE 4 and syncronising it with live video. This is the first take... I wasn't happy with any of the others.

The backing track is "A043: Universal Choir", one of the cooler COMBI's on the Triton le. The lead sound is one I've programmed myself.

Ah yes, and I would like to apologise in advance for the excessive amount of elbow.

  • this is beautifull.....so what kind of keyboard is that? im thinking of buying a midi keyboard/usb controller keyboard so i can do this kind of stuff....would that work?

  • A MIDI or USB keyboard will work as long as it can interface with a computer program that has inbuilt sounds such as "Garage band."

My keyboard is called the "Korg Triton Le." It generates its own sounds (which are brilliant). The two sounds in the video both come from within the keyboard. However, the Korg is more expensive. If you don't know how to play a keyboard yet, start off with something cheaper. However, if you do want a Korg Triton, try Ebay.

    Does that answer your question?
