Watch in high quality!

I screwed up the chorus rythm but, I think the rest was okay. Oh.. and I do lots of stupid faces and stuff..

There's two strange color changes in the beginning and ending of the video, because I forgot to apply the color effect to all clips.. lol

-----------------

Deftones is a rock band from Sacramento, California formed in 1988, consisting of Chino Moreno (lead vocals and guitar), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Chi Cheng (bass), Frank Delgado (keyboards and turntables), and Abe Cunningham (drums and percussion). Their sound has been described as ranging from alternative metal, dream pop and nu metal, to progressive rock.

Deftones' second album, Around the Fur, was recorded at Studio Litho in Seattle, Washington and produced by Terry Date. Released on October 26, 1997, the album included a collaboration with singer Max Cavalera (of Sepultura/Soulfly/Cavalera Conspiracy) on "Headup", a tribute to Cavalera's late stepson Dana Wells, to whom the album was also dedicated. Although not yet a member of the band, Delgado is credited as "audio" on five of the album's tracks and Cunningham's wife, Annalynn, provides guest vocals on "MX".

Chi Cheng exclusively uses Fender Basses. On tour, Cheng uses around 5 or 6 basses. His main basses are two '59 Fender Precision Bass Reissues which both feature Precision Bass Split Single-Coil Pickup (Mid), and a Humbucking Pickup (Bridge); made by Alex Perez of the Fender Custom Shop. Cheng also uses a '51 Fender Precision Bass tuned in EADG, for all Adrenaline songs.

Although he generally prefers to stick to 4-Strings, Cheng acknowledges that he pulled out a couple of Fender 5-Strings during the making of Deftones. Ever since, he has played a Fender Roscoe Beck V 5-String Bass when performing live.

  • @7sloth thnks man, it's not that great but, it's players like you that keep us wanting to get better, good luck with your Kaiowas project

  • TERRIBLE SOUND, OMG! nice song, bad bass player

  • criticize my playing. not the tone, it's not something i can really control with a low end bass and some shitty 10w amp

  • your tone is horrible.sorry

  • I actually like the tone here in some parts, considering it's coming from a 10w.. but some parts really suck lol

  • whats the tuning?

  • on the chorus, instead of sliding down, hit the 4th fret on your a-string (which should be dropped to g#)
