@fra2603 And what is an anthem? Its a reflection in a musical form of the history, culture, struggles of people of a particular country and i think this anthem serves the purpose. An anthem is not judged by the external factors for eg. music and all, you have to look into it and then judge it.

@fra2603 This anthem was writen for the countrymen not for the understanding of the entire world. The writer of the anthem i.e. Rabindranath Tagore had written to inspire the Indians to fight against the British ( I am sorry if you are one). This conveys a little message that is to be united and I think achieved what he wanted which is why we are still united and believe in togetherness.

@13rupanwita I disagree. You must be able to feel the power of an anthem even if you don't understadn a singleworld. I love the south african anthem and the german anthem and the israeli anthem yet I don't understand shit

@fra2603 you have to understand man. its the most inspirational anthem i have ever heard. i am not saying it because i am an indian, this anthem speaks a lot which you will only understand if your an indian and have lived in india for a long time and know something about the past of the country. An anthem is not judged whether its good or bad by the music and any of the external factors. To judge an anthem you have to go beyond into the underlined meaning.

To all those who is talking non-sense about this anthem.. its been chosen the best anthem of the world..so please update yourself before stating something because your comments show how illiterate and uneducated you are..
I am an Indian and trust me I love the Pakistans anthem and I find no point to hate it..why ruin our relationships for political rivalry? The world is one, why break it ino fragments?
