Okay this is a bit on the Random side but i just felt like i had to Upload this.

Once you get the Ghost Ship Chart on Diamond Steppe Island you can board the Ghost Ship and get the Triforce Chart hidden inside after you kill all the monsters.
Once you get the Treasure however Link will hear a really spooky scream and get freaked out.
When i first did this part in 2003 it really creeped me out although it doesnt bother me now.

I gotta admit though for a 3+ Game this part is really horrifying thus why i decided to name the Vid "Scariest Moment in Wind Waker".

Q: Why does Link have a beard?
A: He doesnt, he's just wearing the Hero's Charm.

Q: How do you get the Hero's Charm?
A: Give 40 Joy Pendants to the Teacher on Windfall Island after she gives you the Cabina Deed.

  • those arent ghosts their poes

  • @kztar621 not as much as blizzeta

  • @kztar621 I can understand your reaction to ReDeads at a younger age, there was always two sides, especially now that they look a lot more like tree trunks to us than they used to (Due to not a lot of games having good graphics to compare directly to). Though again, it was the idea of "I cannot get close to it or I will either get a game over or lose a fairy," and when you're that age in 1990's to 2002, every "life" counted. So they kind of struck fear as soon as you heard the scream.

  • @pokemainiak You want to know what I thought of the N64 redeads when I was 6?

    Lame and stupid.

I don't know if it's the awful combination of colors or the stupid looks of the 3D model, but if the thing evokes something in me is laughter.

Before WW these games had a HORRIBLE art direction (Princess Zelda's headdress, for example). And with the redead it's like it doesn't even know what it wants it to be.

If you want rally freaky N64 shit just look for the Dead Hand.

  • Does Link have a..beard??

  • @stevieFFmaster first time i heard it whe n i was six i was like wtf? then i was thinking i dont give in to screams DIIIEEEEEEEEE killed like 30 redeads in rage but i still get why you would be feared by the scream i mean that it only stimulates me to kill them doesnt mean you may not be feared of it
