I bought this great video in Luxembourg City many years ago. It is as if I simply have to buy something in Lëtzebuergesch every time I visit the country.

Apart from the fact that this film is adorable, I absolutely enjoy the beautiful language it is translated into. It has some sounds which seem quite unique: Close to German with a great, French influence.

I have bought about four language courses in Lëtzebuergesch, have phrase books, novels and cd's as well. A waste of money perhaps, but the beauty of this little language deserves it.

i love the nanci griffith song from this movie...the once in a lullaby one that closes the movie. great song, short wish it was longer.
