I made this quick video to show the quickest possible time to bank in while Superheating (or doing any other skill).
Banking here you'll notice (if you watch Mcles Superheating beside me) that I'm losing 1 Superheat, (or 2 game ticks, or 1.2 seconds) every time I bank. This means it is possible to get in the 160k's of Smithing xp/h and in (this is approximate) the 150k's of Magic xp/h, if you Superheat gold ores with Goldsmith gaunts.
The loss when I bought them was about 10gp per 1 'Smithing' xp, but you can't ignore the magic xp that comes with it in an almost equal amount. I think gold ores have actually become cheaper since then, and nature runes also. I'm not sure on the gp per xp ratio now though.
so just fill your bank till it's full, keeps nats out =) i used this method when using zmi.

It's definitely most useful at ZMI. While Superheating gold I believe it's still possible to bank and begin Superheating again 1.2 seconds after the previous one if you don't dump your invent using the icon. Ofcourse, that just means it's more work and more room for error.
