I was tired of reviewing the comments to this video, so I disabled them. The video was made in early WOTLK, before poison procs were changed, and before HfB was changed. At the time, faster weapons meant more poison damage and more focused attacks procs, meaning more DPS overall. It was a mathematical fact. Things have changed, and this video doesn't really apply. It has some good tips left that can be applied to all specs, but it's not a viable HfB guide as of 3.1.
