Gemma Hayes - Another for the Darkness

Once again, Gemma sticking to the more folksy acoustic path which has defined her sound to date. Although there's a lot of artist who cover some pretty similar territory, Gemma seems to manage it better than most. Having said that, part of me still wishes she hadn't dropped the rock element that was the core of records such as 'Lucky One' (wish I had a video of the performance at UCL when her drummer accidentally launched a drumstick into the distance, but had another one in the blink of an eye and didn't seem to miss a beat).
