SketchUp Tips and Tricks: Editing Textures with an External Editor

From the Sketchup 7 preference dialog, you can specify any image editor to manipulate your applied textures. In your model window, right click on a texture applied to a face and select "Edit Texture Image". Make the adjustment and save the image. The change will be immediately reflected in your sketchup model. If you want to edit a texture applied to a curved surface, activate hidden geometries so you can select a texture applied to a specific face.
