how did you mapped channel control to inputs? I can control only out1-8 and can't assign faders to the different channels. is there any trick?

total recall and mototrized faders = mixing is easier :)

I'm having a bit of a hard time understanding exactly what the RME HDSP does.. is it just a pci-e based interface much like the m-audio delta 66 (which I currently have), except on a more powerful scale? Could you just explain to me how it works in your set up please.

@stevierayBlz in my setup it's obviously the core element where all major audio input and output happens.i have 8 extra ins and outs attached via lightpipe and synched via wordclock. you understand correctly: it's an audio i/o interface on a more powerful level (eg. free channel routing, superb drivers and latency values)
