  • Hey there, I see your comment about the combo not quite cutting the bigger stage gigs. Was that with an extension cab? I'm gigging with drums, guitar,b3 and horns. Right now I'm using a 400w Ampeg head on a 15. which is a lot to lug to small gigs and just enough for larger ones was hoping the combo on the extension @500w might be an improvement in both ways..

  • @zetabass Hi Brad -- I've used this combo w/ a NY121 extension cabinet, in a mid-size banquet room w/ no PA support and a fairly loud drummer, & I was just able to make it work. There wasn't really any headroom left, though, which means you have nowhere to go essentially. So to answer your question, I'd say it *could* work depending on the room and the volume of the band. But the rig I use for most gigs is the MarkBass Tube800 head with a Hartke 4.5XL cabinet. Heavy cabinet, but a 6 lb head.

  • yeh.. nice work can you send me some tabs or smth ? I'm rly begginer and wanna learn it tnx

  • @TheIBlunt Sorry for the long response time, I just saw this comment! Unfortunately, I don't use tab so I can't help with that. But if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. The song is in "A" (the band tunes to Ab, though)

  • Awesome job. I'd really like to see the full song. The sound is nice, clean e soft.

  • @renan2k3 Thanks! Appreciate that :) I hope to do some more as time allows!

  • @lakland76 Thanks very much for the note! I mostly use the Markbass combo for rehearsals and smaller gigs. It isn't quite loud enough to keep up on a bigger stage with a loud drummer. The Fender MM is a great bass for the price. Most people change out the pre-amp though (mine has a Bartolini in it)
