  • And thanks everyone for the kind words! :) I served as editor and camera op, and I must say it was really fun to be able to have that much freedom with the camera... you almost have to become a character in the scene to move quickly enough to follow the conversation.

  • Nicely done. Why would you bleep "fuck," though? I keep seeing videos on the Web that are bleeped. Is there some kind of ratings system in place that I'm not aware of? It's insulting. But I enjoyed the film otherwise.

  • @Blazesboy Thanks... glad you liked it. The word was bleeped for two reasons, first being that the 48 hour competition we were in did not allow profanity (or it would at least affect your chances of winning), and secondly, sometimes I think a bleep can be funnier than the word itself.

  • @WhiteCrowFilms What did you shoot it on? I thought the editing was particularly good given the shooting style. As for the bleeps, those are both valid reasons. I am deeply bothered at the way it seems we have become a culture of casual censorship and this kind of thing is an example (apparently on the part of the competition rule makers), but I don't mean to take it out on you. And you're right, sometimes it's funny to bleep, in a context in which profanity is still semi-transgressive, like TV.

  • Hilarious! Not easy making a successful comedy--Great Job!

  • @tuberificvideo This film just won Best Comedy Short at the Ivy Film Festival.

  • Love the camera work, the realism of the lighting adds even more to the emotive punches, and each character is like a little potent snack of pop culture.
