  • @paddys715 Turn off the top footage layer before you pre-compose the "cores" comp.

  • hi, this has been really helpful, just one problem, when I am about to do the colour balance and i drag 'cores' to a new comp, all of the footage is there, not just the saber, so when I change the colours, the whole screen changes. Any idea how I can fix it?

    cheers

  • THX man !!

  • I like the video m8.

I am new to after effects and am using it to do a lightsaber battle with. I have a shot of my character from the side (Which I have masked). However the lightsaber come up from the front of the character around his head and lie behind his back were you can't see it.

May I ask, How to make the blade look as if its behind his back with out it interrupting the movement of the going behind him? I would be a big help to me :)
