  • My understanding is that the large engines stop mid stroke when changing direction. Therefore they would be self starting. Just move the valve lever to center and the engine stops, then cut the main valve to shut the engine down.

  • Very nice like the brass casting. I am building same engine from bar stock do remember if layout for holes on reverse lever was diffrent from drawing?
