im sure the brothers didn't write this song about religious hatred ,,,from what ive heard they were flying into edinburger airport and as the title suggest there was sunshine so they decided to write a song thanking the big man upstairs ,,,so if the bigots fancy using this song for there own vile bile swing on it ,,,no matter what race colour or belief u r all scots should b proud that it was 2 scottish lads that wrote a song so poignant that the rest of the world can adore

I cried so much when they done this so proud! x

amazing a true scots band singing another true scottish bands song.shit like this should unite us

Great song, as for the comments about smelly tims etc. Youtube is awash with the silly petty Rangers v Celtic arguments and their infantile.
This song always reminds me of Helicopter sunday at Easter Road when the Rangers won the league. Great day.
James Allan is a big Celtic fan so what, his songs are amazing.

I don't get it. To be scottish AND cool, you have to hate The Proclaimers? Well, I'm not scottish and I love them. If you don't like it you can go take a flying fuck at a rolling donut.

Couldn't have put it better myself MrKeys ...Kookoooo, do the good people of Scotland a massive favour and kill yourself ...one less brainless, bigotted bastard is always a start ...

Truely beautiful. And the significance of a Glaswegian band singing this song is awesome. Physically broke into tears when they started singing this.
