Look at photographs of the late Kamal Ataturk and you will notice something about him. He was a WHITE MAN! Very possibly descendant from the Janissary! He was intrinsically better then most of his countrymen, he had superior genes. I agree insofar as that the Islamic world needs to undergo a reformation - or an Enlightenment of its own - the way Kamal Ataturk did for Turkey. But the transformation needs to come from within not without - for the Islamic / Pan-Arabic world is all too wary of Western encroachment.

This is why I refute your view on all of Islam - as it is only counter-productive. Antagonism is neither necessary nor desirable.

I know that Islam preserved knowledge during Europe's dark ages and that is very noble. Something tells me that today's Islam would not do so. The President of the United States does not bow to foreign potentates, it is a violation of protocol. Islamic culture is by no means equal to Western culture, it is clearly inferior.
