Finally went through the balancing calculations and designed and machined the counterweights for this engine. It took about two days to do all of this work.

Seems to be running just fine. The wobble is from the stand where the central support rod goes into a socket. Very sloppy. This is not the final stand.

I also made an extension for the water tank from solid ( billet ) aluminum. It has an O-ring seal at the juncture between the copper and aluminum tubes. Doesn't leak a drop there.

Runs better than ever since the balancing counterweights were put on the engine. Archibald 03-21-11
