you clearly have the opposite attitude of Dean. We actually are chemical machines, which does NOT mean love is not romantic. Love is still a great feeling, but accept that all evidence shows it's just a chemical reaction

You clearly have not studied biology. I have a degree in biology and therefore feel that my time is wasted arguing with you. I will not further this conversation simply because I don't think your intelligence is worth my time. I beg you farewell and utterly hope that you someday get some proper education and embrace the scientific method of understanding.

@93Berra I'll have you know I have studied biology to Advanced level and received an A in the subject. Do not assume things and act in an unremittingly condescending manner when you have no idea. I implore you to read 'The Spiritual Brain' by Mario Beauregard. He will eloquently explain to you why modern neuroscience does not take all conscious experience to be entirely biochemical. Also, the term is 'I bid you farewell' so you know in the future.

@petercourt I am utmost willing to hear you out if you have a scientific reasoning behind it. But as it stands now you have don't nothing but to decline the standardized understanding of the brain. You think that there is something deeper about love which can not be explained by natural evolution of out brain. You deny that all our experiences are due to neurons but bring nothing new to the table. If you're going to deny proven science at least explain why.

Perhaps it is not me, but you, who is trying to convince themselves something - the fact that they are afraid to even contemplate the notion that anything beyond biochemical exists. You're being worse than the religious fundamentalists, not even willing to hear why I believe what I do, just simply insulting me instead!

@petercourt Okey kid, this conversation is over. Obviously you're trying to convince yourself something, and that's probably why you took the effort to make the video. When you finish your studies you'll have a much better grasp on this then I might consider hearing you out. You're drowned in a delusion incapable of critical thought, take a step back and reconsider the facts, they all point in the same direction. There's no use in you replying to this, so don't.

@93Berra I might repost saying that I will not discuss with someone who talks so authoritatively about a subject no one is sure about, mightn't I? I am perfectly well educated, thank you, I am privileged enough to be studying Medicine at a university just ranked seventh in the world. If you call everyone religious a baboon then you insult many thousands of famous people far more intelligent than you and I combined. I say to you: How do you not understand love is far more than a primal instinct?
