My Nanna used to live in this area. When I used go and visit her as a teenager in the mid-80s at weekends, the ethnics only had a couple of blocks of houses near the main A6 road. She was a Catholic and didn't attend this church, her church as St. Roberts which is now also closed because the area has been ethnically cleansed of it's British, native, Christian population. My Nanna died in 1990 and in a way I'm glad she never had to see what her area would become. Utterly disgraceful.

I like what this man said. He said he condemned the attacks on all graveyards but pointed how the desecration of Christian graveyards was ignored. Religion is supposed to make us better human beings, and it is sad how some people commit acts of hate in the name of religion.

Perhaps relatives of those buried their should go there with road paint and paint the names of the buried on the car park surface roughly where the gravestone once stood.

Perhaps the council should reimburse the price of the gravestone so the relatives can get alternative memorials.

I find the stupid interruptions to what is a very serious piece of reporting about the desecration of a Christian graveyard very annoying.

I'm a genalogist & I was shocked last year to find that not only had the muslims taken over an old Baptist church last year - St John the Apostle & Evangelist church, Longsight, Manchester, but they broke up the gravestones (some only 60 years old!) to turn them into hardcore for a carpark! How can we find our history if landmarks are removed? Outrageous!

That is so disgraceful just digging and smashing graves. If that had been a Mosque can you imagine the riots and mayhem that would have taken place?

Bloody hypocrites should not be in that country to start with. Makes me sick looking at how everyone is allowing it.
