i know but his arm was also a question...he could have came back after his stint in the CFL but he didnt because his arm was more of a question than the blood clot.

Actually that isn't true watch the draft video about Tommy. The only reason he didn't get drafted was because of the blood clot. It was very likely to return so NFL teams didn't want to take the chance on him. He also had a great senior bowl performance as a pro style quarterback.
