  • I always thought that the British Shorthairs would purr with a British accent.

  • British Shorthairs always remind me of Winston Churchill. Their rounded faces and unintentionally sullen expression is always hilarious and reminiscent of the PM (to me anyway).

  • my British Shorthair sheds a lot. I have to brush him several times a day just to keep it a bit in control - nothing like the other cats, I've lived with!

  • my cat is fat:D

  • My cat is the same way, she's a big talker :D She's black though, all her sisters and brothers were this kind of blueish grey :P

  • "(...) And the bird is still alive (...)" hahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • They're such a beautiful breed. Our boy is the best cat I've ever seen he's so cute and adorable. Also a very social cat he loves playing with us and he's very intelligent and even when he watches me with his round face and brown eyes he's so funny and of course he deserves all the care and love a cat can ever get.

  • @BigEricHunt I think yours is the exception. Ours is the very opposite. And, youtube has a Brit that plays fetch very well.

  • we were looking for a Russian Blue but the shelter had only a two year old Brit. NO regrets! Sweet temperament. Yes, teddy bears that purr.
