Egypt Wants Treasures Back

Some of the greatest treasures of Egyptian art have ended up in foreign countries, including the Rosetta Stone, which unlocked the secrets of Egyptian hieroglyphs. Now Egypt wants the Rosetta Stone back, if only for a visit.

I spent a month in London and refused to set foot in the British museum as I am opposed to them keeping stolen artificats that are not part of their culture/history. Not just from Egypt, but the Greek friezes from the Parthenon, etc...England has no right to keep these, I dont care how it came into their posession, and the woman from the BM in this video, Hannah Bolton, is sooo smug and arrogant. And some Brits wonder why people in the Middle East still resent them.

Well, I pretty much agree with the Egyptian doctor in principle. However, he seriously damages his credibility when he asks for the Rosetta Stone for a "3 month loan".

Does he believe that in a million years that anyone at all could not see he's planning on keeping it?

i dont think its safe to have all the egyptian artifacts in Egypt. Look at the recent events in Egypt the Museam in Cairo got ransacked.

Having these artifacts all over the world protects the history.
